Fincherism

David Frigging Fincher.

The guy with an undying love for the darker and mysterious face of the human psyche... and don't his movies speak for his brilliance.

His scripts show his varied taste.. and his camera captures the most ridiculous and vague things in a stark and realistic light. Even when there are no dialogues.. his frames speak for themselves. Minimalist is his approach.. and known to be a hard taskmaster who goes for a million takes to get the shot just as he's pictured it.. this guy is one creative genius.

Who can forget the way he filmed the shot of Edward Norton standing in the way of a running bus(from Fight Club) 20 times, till Norton got hit by the bus and suffered a broken bone?

And the legend goes that he okayed the first take later during editing.

Stumbled upon his interview, one of the very few ones he gives out, here.

For all you movie buffs out there, cheers. And free :)

That because... no other film tells you everything that u wanna know about life.

That you don't make your own choices, society makes them for you.

And when your mind sets itself to break free of that frame, how insanity is just one step away.

Its about why we are so insecure that we need God to free us off our sins.

About how there is no morality. And about how society will never accept it.

It shows you that when you hit a barrier in life, when you lose something so precious and meant so much to you, how being unable to cry makes it so much more harder.

And about how physical pain can be a boon in disguise to relieve you off your worries.

Its about how ignorant and wild humans are. Its about how everything is in fact nothing.

The only movie that doesn't preach hope, but tells you the hard truth that you don't matter. At all.

That's why its a big deal. :D

u got all that from d movie? d only part I got was this: Physical pain relieves u off ur mental pain. I did hate the way the two of them discuss "is that how a real man looks" on a city bus...One of them is not qualified to laugh at that :D u know who

Yeah, that scene kinda didn go along too well.

And the one where Pitt preaches that the narrator has to let go, and give in to chaos, (the car crash scene) while fastening his seatbelt.
